I'm back to say that I just watched Thunderbolts* on the plane yesterday and I *LOVED* it. It felt like a "superhero movie" that was about being human, not about just telling superhero stories.
Yay!! I totally agree, it felt like such a human story that was just using the superhero genre to tell its message. I’ve talked to friends who didn’t really love the ending because it’s too “feel good” lol but I feel like it felt so earned and also earnest—that truly was the answer and something more “superhero fight” wouldn’t have the same impact.
I loved this. And now I have to go watch those two movies!
Thank you so much Elizabeth! I hope you love them too ☺️

This is an absolutely amazing piece. I am a momma with no time to watch movies anymore, but now I hope to get to these someday.
Thank you!! I hope you do get to watch them someday, I was very encouraged to see movies like these in theaters!
